sitting with history
all around in stacks
and microfiche
in displays that show
past times that are mine.
how can it be
that the everyday
of my life
is now the yesteryear
of theirs
on display to wonder
and point, perhaps
giggle or sigh,
at the oddities of
my days gone by.
